Data Requirements
Step One: Label Your Trays
In order to get your system up and running almost immediately, you first need to upload a list of your trays. This 1st level will enable you to track quality production and achieve parametric release.
Please upload your data in excel using .csv file using the following columns
Alt Code is if you have an existing barcode on your trays – only use if this code is unique !

Step Two: Count Sheet Instrument Importing and Creation
Existing System Data Extract – if you have an existing system, is there a report your can run that displays all Trays and instruments in the tray including Qty and Supplier code – upload that to us.
Start your Database From Scratch
Use the SurgiDat Inventory catalogues in the system to create your database for manufacturers data
While this is a lot more work – it creates an cleaner and more usable database which will also allow links to IFU’s in OneSource (subject to the facility owning a OneSource License)
Existing Excel Count sheets
These need to be updated into SurgiDat format as shown below on a single page for importing
NOTE: follow each Tray on from the last one in a single list on one page I.e. if the next tray was Mini Hand Tray then the next line after the last Major Bone Set line would be Mini Hand Tray line.
Instrument weighted Value is a value from 1-10 (1 being simplest to 10 the most complex) based on the difficulty to reprocess. This provides an exception KIP reporting value (this can be added later and is not mandatory for the initial import
